Kristi Ally’s recent appearance on Oprah to confess she had regained 75 pounds she struggled so hard to lose was both touching and sad. Touching, because Kristi is a true American sweetheart who captures the hearts of everyone; sad, because struggle, disappointment and failure at weight loss is simply unnecessary.
Losing weight and keeping it off for life is well within Kristi’s reach, Oprah’s reach, and within your reach, when you have the right mindset, the right information and a real desire to succeed, but before this can happen, you must abandon common sense, politically correct, popular approaches to weight loss. After all, if Kristi and Oprah can’t make them work, how can anyone?
Weight Loss – Good News/Bad News
The bad news is that most of what people think they know about lasting weight loss is wrong. They are simply mistaken. After all, Kristi Alley has virtually unlimited resources and Oprah is not only blindingly intelligent, she is one of the best informed people in the world on the subject of weight loss, and yet she struggles.
Quick Weight Loss And Fast Weight Loss Products, Programs And Diets Always Fail In The Long Run
The good news is, even though largely unrecognized, there is a real “science” of weight loss , and science trumps both the opinion and the experience of others every single time.
There is a great deal more to losing weight and keeping it off than simply cutting calories, getting some exercise and really wanting it, although there is nothing wrong with that advice… other than it is wildly simplistic, and as Kristi, Oprah and millions of others prove, impossible to maintain for very long… unless a variety of other issues are addressed.
In my exclusive weight loss coaching program, I help people who have been more than 50 pounds overweight for a long time, reach a healthy-attractive body weight and easily maintain that healthy weight without struggle and without feeling hungry or deprived.
One client, who gained a lot of weight due to the emotional trauma of a messy divorce, had followed popular, television approaches to weight loss for two years and was near full blown depression over her failure when our coaching relationship began… eight months later she had dropped sixty-four pounds and was happier than ever in a new relationship.
Another client lost over 70 pounds she had struggled with since high school. After losing the weight, her new self-confidence led her into a successful modeling career, something I discovered five years after we worked together when she spotted me in a department store.
Losing weight and keeping it off is something you, Oprah, Kristi or anyone can do when you have; 1) the right mindset; 2) the right information and; 3) you really want to succeed. But he right mindset and the right information are probably not what you think.
In my book 5 Steps To Optimal Health, you can find out how you, Oprah and Kristi or anyone tired of playing the popular Try, Hope, Fail, Try Again Weight Loss Game, can reach an attractive-healthy body weight you can easily maintain for life.
Losing weight and keeping it off is like driving a car, it can be a wonderful experience or a complete nightmare.
If you’d like to see Oprah and Kristi lose weight AND KEEP IT OFF, send them an email with a link to this blog post… and by all means take a look at 5 Steps To Optimal Health for yourself.

I have been struggling with weight loss for many years. I’m not overly obese, but everytime I gain any weight I lost within months.
I think I have a mindset problem. I read an very interesting and enlightening article at OptimalBodyWeight.com (a website I like and trust)about this issue. Check out their article. It makes a lot of sense to me.
Good Luck
I have watched Oprah lose and gain weight for years. I personally know how hard it is to lose weight and keep it off. All I can say is that I am glad that their are resources like this site that give solid advice that produces real results.
Also, I agree with Billy, you have to get your head on straight in order to get real results. I have been getting excellent information on this at the site: successatthespeedoflife.com
